It’s hard to believe it has been 10 years already since I launched my Latin and World Jazz project with Murray Low as my musical director. Both he and Masaru Koga have been with me from the start, helping to shape the music into something incredibly special and satisfying. We just celebrated with a sold out concert at the new venue Cafe Pink House in Saratoga, CA. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate; the venue is beautiful and intimate with a great sound system and a lovely grand piano, the audience was engaged and enthusiastic and the band – Murray Low on piano, Masaru Koga on woodwinds and percussion, Aaron Germain on acoustic bass and Dan Foltz on drums and cajon – were all on fire. We also showcased some of our new material that will soon be recorded for my 5th CD, due out Spring of 2016. Life is good! I feel so incredibly blessed to be able to live this life of a musician and to have so much wonderful support surrounding me! Here’s to another 10 amazing years of music-making.
